The Mad Science Fair

We are proud to present our gathering of maniacal minds on Sunday May 16th at the Steampunk World’s Fair. The Mad Science Fair offers attendees a full day of exploring both the wackier side of steampunk and alternately the more scientific side as well. We invite inventors, alchemists, scientists, apprentices, henchman, lab rats, and eccentric geniuses of all walks to show off their personal innovations in the official Mad Science Fair competition. In addition, with demonstrations, displays, discussions, contests, and general mayhem, there’s sure to be something for everyone!

EVENTS:
The Official Mad Science Fair Competition– Inventions, contraptions, mods, and salvages. Participants will display, discuss, and demonstrate their creations for all Steampunk World’s Fair attendees to enjoy (and judge the crowd favorite)! Henchman, Apprentice, and Mad Genius Levels apply! Special guest judges will determine category winners, to be announced at the end of the competition. Participants will be competing for the “Coveted Golden Gear” award!
To enter you and your creation into the official competition, please fill out THIS form and email to The Mad Scientist Team. $5 entrance fee applies. With a limited number of spaces, we cannot guarantee that contest entry sheets will be available the day of the event, though we shall do our best to announce when spaces have filled up.
Evil Laughter Contest – Some people are looking to help the world, but you’re looking to rule it! It’s a lot of hard work and maybe you’ve lost touch with current evil laughter trends, or have slipped in your projection exercises. It’s all right; even future emperors and dictators need to brush up on their fear-inducing cackle once in a while. Come see if you have what it takes to be the next all-mighty ruler of this and other worlds by competing with other would-be tyrants!
