We make playgrounds for a living! It’s the best job ever!
In addition to The Steampunk World’s Fair, we do:
- The Anachronism, New York City’s most whimsical Steampunk event.
- The Wicked Winter Renaissance Faire, a gigantic indoor Renaissance Faire run by mad people, for mad people! (This event is ages 16 and up.) It’s the sister event of:
- The Time Traveler’s Resort & Museum – a new, massive experiment in chronologically unhinged events.
- The Geeky Kink Event, a strictly adults-only (19+) event for kinky geeky people. (Website not recommended for persons under the age of 18.)
- The International Steampunk City, a benefit event for museums!
Our missions statement is best described by the poem below, “I Wake Down”:
I wake down.
In the chocolate insanity,
the sweet dark neverland,
I own a small but respectable burger joint.
My fare is decadent and greasy:
the fattening french fries of fantasy
the cholesterolic baconburgers of secret desire
the non-lite beer of childhood make-believe.
This is what I want to be.
An infiltrator pouring weirdness into the water supply.
A gremlin in the gears.
A toymaker, an eternal space cadet:
a purveyor of rhapsody
a whisperer
of wish.
